UNCLE WIGGLEY 2023 ARGYLE "CONTINUATION" 6 Ply EPOXY / CARBON FIBER - Skateboard Deck.

This deck is the first EPOXY / CARBON FIBER ARGYLE deck, UWS has produced in just under 40 years.  Apart from the "Base Coat Color Tone" being natural woodgrain with a nice, clear coat, it's from our line of "Conventionally Styled" 2023 ARGYLES.

 

NOTE*  Manufactured this year / 2023 (This is NOT a "Vintage" deck) BUT, it is as we stated before the first EPOXY / CARBON FIBER reinforced ARGYLE deck UWS has produced in decades.

The Uncle and I might produce and sell a few more like this and a few in some different Color Schemes, this Summer. 

 

The deck is 30.25" long x 10.25" wide with a 6.25" long tail (the tail is about 8.75" wide) 2.5" of Nose and 16.5" wheelbase with "Old School" truck hole drilling. The deck features our 2022 "S1-A" Concave. The SI-A Concave is our slightly updated / modified original UWS Series 1 Concave from around 1980 or so.  On this particular decks shape and size, our 2023 updated version has about 11 mm of front foot concave and just about 3 mm of concave in the rear tail foot area. Enough concave to securely hold your foot in place but not "Too Much" concave that it can actually get "uncomfortable."  Notice that this particular deck has a nice "Natural Woodgrain" finish on the side rails and on the top veneer as well.

 

The Construction is our "Hybrid Composite Construction" (HCC) of 6-PLY EPOXY / CARBON FIBER Lamination. The same construction techniques that we implemented all through the history of UWS. This deck has a slightly stiffer / stronger, yet still classic "WIGGLEY FEEL" to it, that is unique to an authentic Uncle Wiggley Skateboard. Anybody who has ever seriously ridden one, "Knows" what I'm talking about.

Again... Keep in mind that Uncle Wiggley Skateboards will be producing and selling a limited number of Genuine UWS 6 Ply Epoxy / Glass ARGYLE decks this Summer.... We just can't say exactly "when"...

 

Comes with its corresponding COA (Certificate of Authenticity) Signed by "THE UNCLE" himself and Myself, i.e. Dave Bedore, the former and current Production Manager for Uncle Wiggley Skateboards.  This deck is Shrink Wrapped.

Collectors Note* Keep in mind that all Uncle Wiggley Skateboard Decks are 100% handmade and hand silkscreened here in Southern California / USA... UWS is NOT currently using "Digitally Created Heat Transfers" and whatnot for our graphics. Therefore, there are some imperfections.   Please look closely at all the pictures of the deck.  Judge accordingly.  Each and every genuine UWS deck is handmade and is unique in ways you may appreciate or you may not.  Unique in the way that each and every one of us is a unique and individual Human Being / Skater.

UWS does not claim this deck or any of our other decks to be cosmetically "Flawless" in any way, shape, or form. If you are a collector looking for "absolute perfection" this is not the deck for you. Thank You.
