Uncle Wiggley 2023 "Pre-Production" 6 Ply Fiberglass / Epoxy - Argyle - Skateboard Deck.

 

This deck is the first ARGYLE deck UWS has produced in just under 40 years. Nicknamed "THE BIGFOOT"... It's a "Pre-Production / One Off" custom ARGYLE. Manufactured this year / 2023

The Uncle and I are working on the more "Classic / OG Styled" graphic, for more ARGYLES we will be producing and selling this Summer here on this website.

 

This one was silkscreened the way it is, due to "Full Bleed" Silk-Screen Design and Silk-Screen Quality Testing.

The deck is 30.5" long x 10.75" wide with a 6.5" long tail (the tail is about 9" wide) 2.5" of Nose and 16.5" wheelbase with "Old School" truck hole drilling. The deck features our 2022 "S1-A" Concave. The SI-A Concave is our slightly updated / modified original UWS Series 1 Concave from around 1980 or so.  On this particular decks shape and size, our 2023 updated version has about 11 mm of front foot concave and just about 3 mm of concave in the rear tail foot area. Enough concave to securely hold your foot in place but not "Too Much" concave that it can actually get "uncomfortable."

 

The Construction is our Classic Standard 6-PLY FIBERGLASS / EPOXY Lamination. The same construction techniques that we implemented all through the history of UWS. This deck has that classic "WIGGLEY FEEL" that is unique to an authentic Uncle Wiggley Skateboard. Anybody who has ever seriously ridden one, "Knows" what I'm talking about.

This particular deck was drawn out and hand shaped off of our OG 1984 ARGYLE Drawing Template.

This deck also features our classic "Slogan" of - TRUE HIGH TECHNOLOGY - with the 2023 "twist" of quotation marks around the word "HIGH"... Not sure how much longer that little "TWIST" is going to be around... ;~)

 

Again... Keep in mind that Uncle Wiggley Skateboards will be producing and selling a limited number of Genuine UWS 6 Ply Epoxy / Glass ARGYLE decks (with the slightly more "Classically Styled " ARGYLE graphic) this Summer.... We can't say exactly "when"...

But, The Uncle and I are working on that.

 

With all that being said though... This is a rare opportunity to get a 2023 "Continuation / Re-Issue / Pre-Production" / "One Off" of our Classic ARGYLE deck.

The deck comes with its corresponding COA (Certificate of Authenticity) Signed by "THE UNCLE" himself and Myself, i.e. Dave Bedore, the former and current Production Manager for Uncle Wiggley Skateboards.

Collectors Note* Keep in mind that all Uncle Wiggley Skateboard Decks are 100% handmade and hand silkscreened here in Southern California / USA... UWS is NOT currently using "Digitally Created Heat Transfers" and whatnot for our graphics. Therefore, there are some "imperfections."

UWS does not claim this deck or any of our other decks to be cosmetically "Flawless" in any way, shape, or form. If you are a collector looking for "absolute perfection" this is not the deck for you. Thank You.
